Stella McCartney Design Book

After a period of extensive research and investigation, I created a book that explores the aesthetics, philosophy, and sustainable mission behind the luxury fashion brand, Stella McCartney.

Process

I began with a period of research to compile the information on Stella McCartney that I wanted to include. I then wrote the text that forms the body copy of the book and further developed the story that I wanted to tell. After my story was written, I delved into the design of the visual elements and searched for photographs that I wanted to feature. After my book was completed on InDesign, I then printed it out and used an accordion style bookbinding process to create the physical copy of the book. I wanted to create a tactile book, not just a digital version, in order to allow readers to more deeply connect with the content and appreciate the visual elements.
